What a delight to have you here to be a part of this unique environment! Please stay a while! Kick off your shoes. Have fun. Smile a little; smile a lot. That is my sincere hope and desire.

By way of introduction: I was the kid with his nose pressed to the window in school, looking outside. I would see faces in the trees, and the clouds, and quite frankly, in many other quite surprising places. I even found that numerals and letters on the page were staring back at me. I watched in amazement and imagined all their different expressions and started capturing these wonderful images with amazing, vibrant colors and uncanny details. It was with that that Grumps were born, and quite frankly, I took some crap along the way -- that's why you'll see images like those adoreable teddy bears on the site -- but I never gave up on the Grumps.

Now, a word to my long time friends. Thanks for your patience and for sticking with me. I promise that the transition from Grumpgreetings.com to Grumpology.com will be well worth the wait. My deepest, and sincerest apologies to those of you who may have felt left high and dry during the transition. You were NEVER out of my mind and thoughts. Grumpgreetings.com was enjoyed by thousands in over fifty (50) countries in the world, and I anticipate that our new site, Grumpology.com, will touch lives on a much greater scale. Grumpology.com is a bigger, better, badder website than before, with more grumps -- 3 times as many -- more features, more user friendliness, and yes, more "WOW"!

Please allow me to introduce my "Grump Family" and make very special acknowledgements: Recently, I had some life threatening health issues, and it looked like I might not be able to complete this project -- or anything else for that matter. But, I have been blessed with a miraculous recovery -- twice -- and with the help of the good Lord above, many loved ones and special individuals along the way I am now able to complete it.

Currently, we have two other Grump artists: First, my younger brother Lester, who has been -- and continues to be -- a great help with this project, and my son Cam, who has demonstrated a unique ability to create his own spin on the "Grumps" -- which makes me smile.

This site is a tribute to my three amazing kids, Ashley, BreAnna, and Camren. They are my most precious treasure. ( my oldest, Ash, made me a Grandpa not too long ago. What a thrill! Her name is LuLu -- baby Londyn. She rocks!)

I give special recognition and devotion to my other siblings, whom I love with all my heart and love to be with as much as possible. Several of them have been invaluable and continue to be so in helping The Grumps come to life.

I dedicate this site to my parents, who brought me into this world, and put up with all my shenanigans over the decades and all those noseprints on the windows. I want to thank them from the depths of my heart and soul.

I especially want to thank my Father who passed away two years ago, who, in a crystal moment of clarity amid strokes and mini strokes said to me from his hospital bed, “Do what you love; do what you are good at…and the rest will follow”. He then quietly retreated into that non-lucid world that otherwise held him captive.

Also, to my dear, sweet mother, who has loved me unconditionally my whole life. Thank you. You have been good to me beyond measure. I adore you.

In closing, our little Grump family appreciates you so much for using our humble site. It is our collective legacy that "anything is possible" and "if you can think it, dream it, or any form thereof, you not only can do it, you will do it!!!" You are amazing. You can do anything! YOU ROCK!!! Never give up…never give up…never give up!!!
